Feed Specialist

The Feed Division has been an important part of Madoc Co-op since it was established in 1948.  The staff at Madoc has a strong farming background and is well trained to handle feed issues pertaining to beef, sheep, and small farm poultry flocks. For our customers who pick up their feed in smaller lots, all of our stores carry bagged feed for their convenience.

• Madoc Co-op’s Feed Specialist is Alan Govier. His main accountability is dairy specialist.

Most of our feed is manufactured at GROWMARK’s Peterborough Feed Plant, operated by Land O’Lakes. Production includes bulk and bagged feeds for dairy, poultry, swine, beef, sheep, and specialty feeds. The mill supplies textured feeds for customers who wish to purchase soymeal and whole grains in bags.
